This is pretty amazing to watch!
But she doesn’t look like she’s relaxed and resting – she seems quite vigilant. Will she sleep? (I’m assuming we’re viewing the mother as I watch this evening. Does the father play a role in sitting on and warming the eggs?)

Both parents incubate the eggs and care for their young. Predation of both eggs and young chicks is high, so vigilance is essential!
