I believe this is the larva of an Asian lady beetle.

At 1st we thought of a 1) Firefly, then a 2)Bumblebee, or maybe a 3)Lady bug? We looked into all 3 bug types and it is a nice investigative exercise for my 5 year old too.
Our conclusion is #3 – and we hope to see lots and lots!

Ladybug!! Just saw a lot of these in my house. I wonder if the larva of different ladybug species look distinctively different?
