Vermont Public Radio Interview

Celebrate Thanksgiving with Tom T. and me by listening to "Vermont Edition" on Wednesday, November 24th at 12 noon and 7 p.m.(probably the last 10 minutes of the show), on Vermont Public Radio! Jane Lindholm and I take a walk in the woods and discuss our "finds," including a fisher scent post, porcupine den and black bear scat. If you can't get VPR, you can go to http://www.vpr.net and listen to it any time.
Great photograph! We have a flock of 12 wild turkeys that roam around our house picking up bird seeds on the ground underneath the feeders, but my snapshot camera doesn’t do them justice. Question: Why are wild turkeys dark colored and farm-raised turkeys white? Many thanks. Keep up the great work.

Loved your conversation with Jane Lindholm on Vermont Edition. Do you ever conduct nature walks for the public? Love walking in the woods myself, especially this time of year when you can see so much! We live in such an incredible spot in this world!
