My friend John O’Brien introduced me to your blog and I have really been enjoying it for the last 5 months. I have learned a lot and want to thank you for the time and effort you put into it.
We lost our Emma last year (a german shorthair)–when I saw your photo I just had to write. There is nothing like walking in the woods (or marsh or prairie) with a dog as your guide! Hope you and your Emma have a wonderful new year doing just that.
December 27, 2014 at 5:26 pm
Thank you so much for writing, Peggy. I’m sorry to hear about your Emma. My Emma is 11 years old, and I don’t believe I’ve taken a picture without her by my side or in my canoe with me. I tell her she has to live forever! A wonderful 2015 to you, as well!
