Mary, I love your posts and eargerly look forward to them. However, I feel your recent turkey post is insensitive. Sexual abuse is a serious issue.

You just didn’t get it…hope you have an enlighted Thanksgiving Dara and lighten up. Love the turkey photo.

I love Mary’s posts, too. The caption is puzzling and, I trust, a misunderstanding. ❤

And the winner is?! Love that photo (remember it from last year)…Mary: enjoy your Thanksgiving with Sadie, Otis, Lily Piper and Greta!

What a perfect photo for Thanksgiving.

Great picture, but it isn’t clear why you are referring to the “#MeToo” Era. Sexual assault isn’t something that should be made fun, neither is the movement helping people to speak up about their experiences.

Lighten up, shithead.

So funny! And what a great photo of the confused hen trying to choose her mate! So cute! We have to be able to laugh…..

Lovely photo of turkeys but please spare us the #metoo filth,
My thought:, that’s the way it is in the world of many wild creatures. She is courted, and she gets to acquiesce – or not! It gave me a chuckle.
Humans are much more complicasted.

Great photo. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, as well, and thank you for brightening my inbox every morning.

This beautiful photo is in no way offensive to the sexual abuse survivors in this quarter! In fact it is empowering. Agency! We who know turkeys are grateful not to see another joke about killing turkeys like everywhere else in this culture.

Well, said, Nora. And thank you, Mary, for our first laugh of the day.

Love the Photo – so fun and appropriate! Happy Thanksgiving! BB

Gave me a chuckle! Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving to all! 🦃
Love the photo! No worries about the mistaken ‘me too’ reference. As a rape survivor, the comment which referenced ‘me too’ as filth is offensive and heartbreaking to me.

I’m with you on both points. Mary meant no harm and the “filth” comment is repulsive. Stay strong.

I thank you for what your work gives me!

Extraordinary picture! Imagine the patience it took to get that shot.
I find many things to be grateful for. Mary, you and the sharing of your knowledge and picture-taking ability are important ones. Thank you many times over.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Sadie, Otis and Lily, and Greta. Blessings!
