    Best wishes for the new year, Mary. A friend from Philadelphia and I have a special connection with snow geese from way back when we worked at the Schuylkill Valley Nature Center. I loved this image! Where were you when you saw them?

      Would that friend be Paul, I think his name was? This photo was taken in the Champlain Valley, in Vermont. You used to be able to see them in the tens of thousands, but their staging grounds have changed…happy new year to you! Mary
