Family Update
About two years ago, many, many Naturally Curious readers showered my daughter Sadie with a phenomenal amount of support and compassionate wishes after she lost her husband, Waylon. Both Sadie and I were stunned by the warmth and generosity of all of you who responded, 99% of whom we have never met. I just wanted to share with you a recent photograph of Sadie, Otis (4 years old) and Lily Piper (1). Your thoughtfulness helped make the past two years as good as they possibly could have been, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. As you can see, Otis and Lily Piper are thriving!
I keep you and your family in my thoughts each day. Wonderful to see thier smiling faces and to know you are all doing this well. My love to you and your family….

This is a beautiful family. My hands are that age and our little apartment is full of photos of how quickly they grow. When my Dad didn’t come from the War, my Mom raised us with discipline, humor , and lots of reading and mainly Outdoor time. Best wishes to Sadie, Otis, and Lily as they grow through the ages. They are lucky to have you! Thank you for sharing. Love

Love, diligence, support and balancing, all very necessary to have a wonderful outcome. I, as well, often wonder how they are doing. Obviously very well. Lily’s dimples are adorable! Otis & Lily Piper are fortunate to have each-other & two happy Moms. Just told my almost 5 year old grand daughter, yesterday, how ‘Otis the Owl’ got his name!
