~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “Deep peace of the shining stars to you….”
Apologies if my iPad still uses “ai” when I mean “I” ever since I studied Italian on it, and randomly capitalizes things.
Beautiful picture of a Great Grey. I saw the one that visited the wild field in Hadley MA around 1984. The first time I visited the field sometime before the owl arrived, I was pursuing a strange great breathing sound. This turned out to be a hot air balloon which had made an unexpected landing there. First the sound then the wild field, utterly unexpected in the most conscientious farming community you can imagine, struck me as so anomalous that I said, “If a UFO were to land anywhere, this is where it would come down.” Then the owl. Lately I have been learning that UFO’s–or UAPs– often coincide with owls. Mike Clelland has written books about this strange congruence of phenomena, which seem linked more via their symbolic meaning to us than for any practical association.
